It is a DOHC 24 valve twin turbo technology with double VANOS steplessly variable valve timing engine It has electronic throttle control. You have your choice of a six speed manual transmission which is always fun or you can get the six speed Steptronic automatic transmission with Adaptive Transmission Control and steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The new 335i convertible is a year around car. The hardtop folds into the truck in 22 seconds and it takes one second longer for you to raise the hardtop again. The rear side windows are 30 percent larger and the rear window is larger too A lot different than the old rag tops. With the retractable hardtop that is in three pieces and stacks, it gives you more truck room and also eliminates the slit top problem. The new 3 series comes in 14 different exterior colors. Three non-metallic and eleven metallic. The are five different colors of Dakota Leather for the seats. My choice would be the Barbera Red with the Cream Beige Dakota Leather. The Black Sapphire Metallic with the Coral red Leather is also a really sharp combination. The 335i Convertible has the Dynamic Stability Control including Brake Fade Compensation, Start Off Assistance, Brake Drying, and Brake Stand By Feature, plus Dynamic Traction Control. It also has 4 wheel ventilated anti-lock disc brakes. In the cockpit you can get 10 way power adjustable sport seats with adjustable side bolsters manual thigh support and driver memory for the seat and exterior mirror position. There is a four way adjustable power lumbar support for the front seats and there are 3 stage heated for these cold Colorado mornings. Speaking of cold Colorado mornings, the automatic Climate Control System includes micro filters, automatic air recirculation, left/right temperature controls. temperature and volume controlled rear outlets, windshield misting sensor and recall of individual user settings.
